The Real McCoy's
Seabees Deck Jacket
A Seabee was a member of the U.S. Naval Construction Force. The word “Seabee” comes from the initial “CB”, which comes from the name ‘Construction Battalio”.
They were responsible for constructing roads, bases, airfields, and many other building projects on the battlefield. During WW2, units were assembled with civilians from the construction trade because they were able to provide valuable experience. Many had basic military training and often operated under fire.
They frequently were forced to take part in the fighting to defend themselves and their construction projects. The Reason for stating “Seabees” on the label of the jacket is still unknown and very rare to see.

The Real McCoy's is a brand like no other. To many the outdated features of vintage clothing have little significance in today's modern society, but this is exactly what influences the brand. American fashion of the 1940's and 1950's is a source of great inspiration; a young country unburdened by the restrictions of traditional customs, one that’s uninhibited, rational and innovative.
